Okay, I had to log-in to tell you this one. I don't know if it will work, but before you end up with a color you do not like, go to the hair shop, and "try-on" a wig in the color you wish to wear. *sigh* I know the wigs are straight haired, but it is the "color" you should be focusing on. Try different colors to see which one you like, then make your choice.

Now I have not died my hair YET but I have researching what to use, where to go. I decided to go with Naturtint bc it is a little more gentle on your locks. Blaqkofi blogged about this product also. I have never colored my locks so for my first treatment I am going to a natural hair salon in my area and they use this product as well so I am very excited.
After my research I have also decided not to lift my hair. It seems to cause way to much damage overtime and my hair is dry enough!!!

My first reaction is to go far it but when I calm down it might be a good idea to try a rinse first. Or to color a test loc rather than the entire head. I would consider the effort for maintaining the color as well. I have heard that red is harder to keep vibrant.
